The Grade 12 Writing-Expository Rubric is designed to assess students’ ability to compose clear; well-structured expository essays that inform; explain; or analyze a topic. This rubric evaluates key components of effective expository writing; including thesis development; organization; evidence and support; style and voice; and technical accuracy. By using this rubric; educators provide students with clear expectations and consistent feedback; helping them refine their analytical and writing skills.
