The rubric evaluates students across multiple dimensions; including knowledge acquisition; application of psychological principles; research proficiency; and communication clarity. By providing clear expectations; the rubric helps students focus on mastering essential learning objectives while encouraging self-reflection and improvement. The knowledge and understanding category measures students’ grasp of foundational psychological theories; such as developmental; cognitive; and social psychology. Students must demonstrate accurate recall and comprehension of key terms and concepts. The application and analysis section assesses their ability to apply psychological principles to real-world scenarios; interpret research findings; and evaluate the validity of psychological studies.
