The Grade 12 Entrepreneurship rubric is designed to assess students’ understanding and application of key entrepreneurial concepts; skills; and mindsets. It evaluates their ability to identify opportunities; develop viable business ideas; and create actionable plans for launching and managing a venture. The rubric emphasizes critical thinking; creativity; and problem-solving; ensuring students can analyze market needs; assess risks; and make informed decisions. Students are assessed on their capacity to conduct market research; define target audiences; and articulate a clear value proposition. The rubric measures their proficiency in financial literacy; including budgeting; pricing strategies; and revenue projections; to ensure they grasp the economic realities of entrepreneurship. Collaboration and communication skills are also evaluated; as students must present their ideas persuasively and work effectively in teams. The rubric encourages innovation by rewarding originality and adaptability in business planning. It assesses students’ ability to refine their ideas based on feedback; demonstrating resilience and a growth mindset. Ethical considerations and social responsibility are integrated into the evaluation; ensuring students understand the importance of sustainable and socially conscious business practices.
