This Grade 11 Chemistry rubric is designed to provide clear and consistent evaluation criteria for student performance across key learning objectives. The rubric assesses students on their understanding of core chemistry concepts; application of scientific methods; accuracy in problem-solving; and effective communication of ideas. Each category includes performance descriptors for four achievement levels: limited; adequate; proficient; and excellent. These descriptors provide students with a transparent understanding of expectations; encouraging self-assessment and goal-setting.
