This Grade 9 World History (African) rubric is designed to assess students’ understanding of key historical events; figures; and cultural developments across the African continent. The rubric evaluates students on their ability to analyze primary and secondary sources; demonstrate knowledge of significant historical periods; and articulate connections between African history and global contexts.
