Preschool Creative Writing Rubric This rubric is designed to assess and support the development of early writing skills in preschool-aged children. It evaluates creativity; expression; and foundational literacy abilities in a way that aligns with developmental milestones. The rubric encourages young learners to explore storytelling; drawing; and emergent writing while fostering a love for self-expression. The first category assesses idea generation and imagination.
